Lany malibu nights album release
When he sings “I got way too much time to be this hurt/ Somebody help, it's getting worse / What do you do with a broken heart?” these emotions can be truly felt within the listener.Įven with the intense sorrow of the lyrics, an ounce of hope breaks through the sadness. The shock, confusion and despair are quite evident. The song explores the raw and fresh emotions Klein felt after the breakup. All of these feelings of loss and depression culminate in the song “Malibu Nights.” This is arguably the saddest song in the album, and it’s hard not to shed a tear while listening to it.
You can feel the pain Klein is experiencing and you can’t help but feel for him. The sorrow and heartbreak bleeds through the album. This album was released right after lead singer Paul Klein’s very public breakup with pop star Dua Lipa. LANY has proved they have a lot more to offer with this album. It is the indicator of whether a band is here to stay, or if their moment in the spotlight is gone. The second album of a band is always an important one. I can't support a song that compares women like this.LANY released their second studio album “Malibu Nights” on October 5th. It's so disappointing, I've been of fan of them for a few years now and even got to see them live. This song is degrading a group of women while uplifting another. The fact that he doesn't even refer to them as women, but as girls.
You're telling me a financially independent woman who works a 9 to 5 is rare? Please. I mean, seriously? This is just SO weird to have a 30-year-old say stuff like that. With their empty conversations, short attention spans (Yeah)īut you look even better than your Instagram I'm not a huge fan of "they don't make 'em like you anymore." It gives off huge pick-me vibes and I really don't like how the song pits women against each other - that the girl in question is "different" and "better" than the others.Īll the girls thеy act the same in La La Land I was listening to the new tracks in their deluxe version and I gotta say. Well, gonna listen to all their other awesome bops and can't wait for a new album haha :) Listening to music can make my day go from 0 to 100, but with LANY, it's beyond words. LANY is LANY, I'm not expecting fireworks or, an orchestra to produce their album haha, but what they do produce every single time is good vibes. The good thing I find with LANY is, my favourite songs from all their albums/ep's changes all the time, so I always feel like I've always got a new song to go to. I would say these seem the weakest right now, but not that their bad. I think 'somewhere', 'care less' and 'one mintue left to live' I will warm to over time. I like that this is in here, because it breaks up the sound of the album when you're listening to it, but in a good way Mama's Boy is probably up there with my favourite projects from LANY, don't kill me :D
'live it down' has similar vibes to Mama's Boy with the acoustic guitar. I love both this and the demo, it just depends on what mood I'm in. I like all the songs they dropped before the album's release date, and I really like 'ex i never had', that's super catchy :) I love that they gave us a new version of 'DNA'. I think from first listen, I think it's pretty good (I say this now, then suddenly it will grow on me over time haha).
